Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in piping and structural disciplines with over 15 years of expertise in boiler packages associated with power plant ventures. The role involves overseeing structural erection, piping fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, and other construction activities while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning processes of piping and structural components.
- Effectively coordinate manpower, material availability, and subcontractor activities to adhere to project timelines.
- Uphold safety protocols, ensure compliance with quality control standards, and meet client requirements.
- Oversee hydrotesting, non-destructive testing (NDT), post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), and address punch list items for clearance.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance/quality control, and construction teams to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.
