Marketing Executive

Position Overview

This role is centered on enhancing brand image both within the company and to the external market. The Marketing Executive will employ effective sales strategies to optimize revenue while preserving guest loyalty to Marriott. The position involves identifying opportunities for upselling and offering enhancements to improve guest experiences or events at Marriott properties.

Core Responsibilities

• Promote brand awareness internally and externally, using sales techniques that aim to maximize revenue and maintain customer loyalty.
• Identify and seize upselling opportunities to offer guests improved experiences or event enhancements.
• Encourage guests or prospective customers to purchase or schedule preview package sales or tours.
• Explain important details and requirements about sales presentations to potential vacation club owners.
• Verify eligibility of individuals before scheduling tours for Marriott vacation club properties.
• Provide complimentary gifts, such as rewards points or show tickets, to acknowledge guest patronage.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services with accurate information.
• Record and transmit messages clearly, accurately, and comprehensively.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both spoken and written forms, including telephone etiquette.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and attentively address employee concerns.
• Meet quality assurance standards and expectations.
• Physically handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds and remain standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods as required.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is desirable.
• No supervisory experience is necessary.
