Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer II - Mechanical Assembly will support production teams in meeting output targets without compromising quality. Responsibilities include managing product releases, resolving production issues, handling non-conformance reports, conducting root-cause analyses, and executing corrective actions. The engineer will also drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, collaborating with production to optimize processes and integrate new prototype procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure production throughput meets requirements while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Own product releases and clear production bottlenecks.
• Analyze non-conformance issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Develop and refine manufacturing procedures and best practices.
• Work closely with production to test and integrate new processes and tooling.

Required Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in mitigating manufacturing risks.
• Background in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficiency in managing technical documentation and project oversight.
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Experience in new product implementation and the design of tooling.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to environmental and production testing such as vibration, shock, thermal, and vacuum conditions.
• Understanding of instrumentation including power supplies, accelerometers, thermocouples, RTDs, and pressure sensors.
