Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized Manager of People Operations to oversee and expand our everyday People initiatives. This role requires partnering closely with leadership to nurture a supportive global workforce and ensuring HR strategies are aligned with company goals. The position is based at our headquarters in Ardmore, PA, with a hybrid work schedule and reports directly to the Co-Founder and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, maintain candidate pipelines, and collaborate with external agencies to acquire top talent.
- Create and implement an onboarding process that engages new employees early and shortens their ramp-up time.
- Handle payroll administration for all employees and contractors.
- Administer employee benefits including annual plan renewals and oversee the company 401(k) retirement offerings.
- Oversee daily management of HRIS and payroll systems, specifically Rippling.
- Coordinate the annual goal-setting and manage quarterly and yearly performance evaluations within the HRIS.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work culture by organizing team events, recurring meetings, and conducting engagement surveys.
- Manage employee relations impartially, ensure compliance, and update the Company Handbook in line with regulatory changes.
Candidate Requirements
- Four to six or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within private equity or venture capital-backed startups.
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll, benefits, and performance review processes directly.
- Knowledge of modern HRIS platforms, with Rippling experience highly preferred.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships, make sound judgments, and deliver results independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills characterized by flexibility, accountability, and diligence.
- Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid format based in Ardmore, PA, attending occasional in-person company events.
