Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Metering team, based on the Gold Coast. Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, you will ensure smooth operations by managing logistics, inventory, and warehouse tasks, supporting technicians by providing necessary materials to fulfil customer projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deliveries, collections, and overall logistics activities to maintain smooth workflow.
• Manage inventory to meet both operational needs and contractual obligations.
• Support warehouse functions including receiving shipments, dispatching goods, and stock control.
• Coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform stocktakes and investigate discrepancies in inventory.
• Prepare purchase orders, delivery paperwork, and generate inventory reports.
• Track logistics performance and promptly address supply-related challenges.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient warehouse environment.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Exceptional organisational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a customer-oriented mindset.
• A valid Driver’s Licence is mandatory.
• Possession of a Forklift Licence (LF) and qualifications in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
