Role Overview
The Lobbyist will act as a principal advocate for clients by liaising with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and policy influencers to promote strategic trade and market access goals. Daily tasks include tracking and analyzing legislation and regulatory changes, drafting briefings and position documents, and organizing advocacy initiatives aligned with both client and company priorities. The position requires establishing and nurturing relationships with governmental officials, industry partners, and international collaborators. Additionally, the role supports the formulation of governance models and expansion strategies across economic corridors. This is a full-time hybrid position located in Dubai, combining on-site involvement with remote work flexibility for effective international coordination and research.
Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise in lobbying and government relations, with experience engaging public-sector figures and decision-makers.
- Knowledgeable in governmental affairs and legislation, including policy monitoring, interpretation, and advisory functions.
- Understanding of appropriations and budget-related processes to aid strategic advocacy and financing efforts.
- Competent in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and strategic communication.
- Experience with international markets, trade policy, or foreign investment mechanisms is advantageous.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in political science, law, international relations, economics, public policy, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings with excellent English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
- Maintains high ethical standards, sound judgement, and the capacity to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
