Job Overview

This permanent, full-time position is located at SUEZ in Gas Road, Swale, Sittingbourne (ME10 2QB), working 40 hours each week, Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The hourly pay rate is £13.42, and full personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.

Role Description

As a Loader with SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, you will play a vital part in an established, expanding company dedicated to minimizing environmental impact through waste management and recycling. Your primary responsibility will be loading vehicles that collect municipal waste and recyclables from households. Ensuring a high-quality service while adhering to health and safety standards and contractual obligations is essential. Expect to walk approximately 6 to 10 miles per working day.

Candidate Requirements

• Physical fitness and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Demonstrated reliability and good communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
• Previous experience in the waste industry or working with waste vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided where needed.
