Role Overview
Join the Operational Excellence team within the Strategy and Corporate Development department (LIFT-Office) at EUROGATE GmbH & Co. KGaA, KG. As a Lean Manager based primarily in Bremen or Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and sustainable enhancement of value creation efficiency across EUROGATE’s German sites. This position aligns strategic objectives with operational execution and promotes organizational development through a learning Lean culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze processes, value streams, and obstacles to identify improvement opportunities using benchmarks and best practices.
- Develop a tailored company-wide Lean strategy and oversee its coordinated implementation across locations.
- Establish Lean competencies by empowering leadership and staff to embed Lean principles sustainably.
- Plan and facilitate Lean workshops and monitor outcomes through structured progress tracking, including preparing professional presentations.
- Collaborate in ongoing development of methods, tools, and standards for process, knowledge, and idea management.
- Integrate Lean initiatives into strategic control systems and into goal and performance management frameworks.
- Promote a Lean culture throughout the organization in line with existing values and leadership principles.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience with a proven record in implementing substantial optimization projects.
- Strong expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and process management.
- Experience in transformation projects and change management.
- Proficient with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and team collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong strategic thinking complemented by effective practical execution.
- Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize effectively in a digital workplace environment.
- High degree of initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and willingness to innovate and adapt.
- Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel to German sites as needed.
