About the Role
Join us as a Lead Customer Service Representative at our Waycross, GA location (Store 2745014: 1913 State St, Waycross, Georgia 31501). This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where you can grow your career through challenging and varied daily tasks alongside motivated colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and efficiently operate the register and cashier system.
- Make product suggestions and occasionally assist with food programs.
- Gain foundational management experience by regularly leading shifts and supervising team members.
- Maintain store standards both inside and outside to ensure an attractive appearance and timely service.
- Engage in teamwork to achieve daily objectives while providing friendly customer interactions.
- Exhibit leadership skills by guiding employees during shifts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in retail, customer service, or cashier roles is preferred.
- Some prior experience in entry-level management or team leadership is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive customer relations.
- A spirited approach to problem solving and making quick, effective decisions.
- Team oriented with motivation to advance professionally and enjoyment of a lively work atmosphere.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours continuously.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds for 30 minutes per shift from ground to overhead height.
- Occasional lifting up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Ability to push or pull with up to 20 pounds of force using arms.
- Bending at the waist with twisting for up to one hour during a shift.
- Manual dexterity for grasping, reaching, handling objects, and climbing as needed.
