Overview
Join one of the world's leading veterinary diagnostic companies as a Laboratory Technician in Parasitology at IDEXX. You will perform laboratory tests that assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating pets. This role demands teamwork, quality focus, and offers opportunities for personal growth within a fast-paced environment.
This position is based at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Kornwestheim near Stuttgart, the largest IDEXX lab location globally. We process thousands of samples daily not only from German customers but across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle all tasks related to parasitology diagnostics, closely coordinating with other diagnostic departments.
- Conduct routine parasitological diagnostic activities including microscopy, ELISA workstations, and detection of endo- and ectoparasites.
- Support general laboratory technical duties such as sample registration and preparation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Successfully completed vocational training as Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), Veterinary Medical Technical Assistant (VMTA), or Veterinary Assistant (TFA).
- A strong sense of responsibility and structured work habits.
- Work approach characterized by precision, reliability, efficiency, organization, and independence.
- Team-oriented mindset with eagerness for continual professional development and knowledge expansion.
- Attention to detail with highly accurate and dependable work execution.
