Role overview
This is a Kitchen Porter position based at Hatherop Castle School in Cirencester, GL7 3NB. The post is on-site and runs Monday to Friday, with shifts from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The role totals 40 hours per week and follows a term-time schedule of 33.6 weeks per year, including inset days.
The annual pay for this role is £19,115.84.
What you will do
You will help keep the kitchen operating efficiently by making sure all areas stay clean, organised, and prepared for service.
- Clean pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery, either with an industrial dishwasher or by hand when needed.
- Receive deliveries, verify that stock matches expectations, and put items away safely.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in both kitchen and dining spaces.
- Support the catering team in delivering a welcoming, smooth, and quality service to customers.
