Job Overview
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to uphold our high health, safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards within the kitchen. This role primarily involves evening shifts commencing at 4:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning dishes, pots, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintaining a clean kitchen floor and ensuring kitchen equipment stays hygienic.
- Removing rubbish to designated areas.
- Assisting chefs when necessary.
- Maintaining personal hygiene and appearance to high standards.
- Communicating effectively with management and team members.
- Regularly checking staff rooms and kitchen equipment condition.
- Adhering to health and safety policies and protocols.
- Participating in training sessions as required.
- Taking responsibility for safety of self, colleagues, and others on-site.
- Reporting incidents, accidents, fires, losses, or damages and responding appropriately.
- Performing any additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Right to work legally within the United Kingdom.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Access to personal transport due to the remote location.
Preferred Experience
- Previous exposure to working in the hotel or hospitality sector is advantageous.
