Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Kalkulator (Estimator) to join our team in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The role involves detailed technical review of tender documents, as well as market-competitive and cost-covering pricing for construction projects. Candidates will conduct site inspections and translate findings into their bids, handle calculation of contract amendments, and engage in market monitoring and other sector-relevant tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carefully review technical aspects of incoming tenders.
• Establish offer prices that align with market rates and ensure cost coverage.
• Inspect construction sites and incorporate observations into bid preparation.
• Calculate supplementary charges and contract variations.
• Monitor market trends relevant to the industry.
• Perform typical job and industry-specific activities as needed.

Requirements

• Completed engineering or technician qualification in a construction-related field or equivalent credentials.
• Relevant professional experience within the construction sector.
• Thorough knowledge and confident application of the VOB regulations (German Construction Contract Procedures).
• Ability to work independently with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Responsible economic thinking and acting in daily tasks.
• Motivated with cooperative assertiveness.
• Valid class B driver's license.
• Proficient German language skills and computer literacy, including expert use of MS Office® and construction cost estimation software.
