Job Overview

The Junior Surveyor role plays a vital part in delivering construction projects with precision. You will support site operations by performing accurate measurements, setting out reference points, and keeping comprehensive survey records. This ensures construction activities align exactly with design specifications, while adhering to stringent safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Carry out site measurements, leveling tasks, and setting out works.
• Operate surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS units, and leveling equipment.
• Accurately record, process, and maintain all survey data.
• Cross-check dimensions, elevations, and coordinates against project plans.
• Collaborate with senior surveyors and support their daily tasks.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with site engineers and construction teams.
• Comply consistently with health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols and promote safe working practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to three years of relevant surveying experience.
• Foundational understanding of surveying techniques and tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying software is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving abilities.
