About the Opportunity
We are collaborating with a respected national regulatory organization undergoing an exciting phase of organizational growth. This organization is enhancing its governance frameworks, business processes, and project delivery capabilities to build a more robust foundation for its future. We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join this transformative journey. This role is ideal for experienced Project Coordinators, Project Officers, PMO Analysts, or Delivery Coordinators ready to transition into Project Management roles.

Role Overview
As an Associate Project Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the successful execution of strategic business and technology projects. You will operate in a multifaceted stakeholder environment contributing to project planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and delivery activities. This hands-on position encourages ownership, relationship-building, and growth into a confident Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end execution of strategic business and technology projects.
- Organize project plans, timelines, milestones, and essential deliverables.
- Oversee project governance including RAID logs, reports, meeting documents, and action item registers.
- Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, actively driving resolution.
- Engage with business stakeholders, domain experts, and delivery teams to ensure project success.
- Compose project documents, briefing materials, status updates, and communications for stakeholders.
- Support planning for implementation, preparing business readiness, and promoting continuous improvements.
- Help maintain quality project governance and delivery standards.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are currently employed as Project Coordinators, Project Officers, PMO Analysts, Delivery Coordinators, or Project Support Officers and possess:
- Experience aiding delivery of business or technology projects.
- Involvement in managing smaller projects, leading workstreams, or independently achieving critical project outcomes.
- Strong organizational capabilities and effective prioritization skills.
- Experience producing project reporting, documentation, and governance materials.
- Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and risk and issue management techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- A proactive mindset with confidence to take initiative and drive results.
- Ambition to pursue a dedicated and long-term career in Project Management.
Additional desirable qualifications include:
- Certifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, Diploma of Project Management, or equivalents.
- Experience in supporting digital, technology, or business improvement projects.
- Exposure to government, regulatory, or other highly regulated environments.
