As a Business Analyst, you will support our clients by gathering, analyzing, and breaking down complex business requirements into actionable components. This role lays the foundation for successful delivery of regulatory and transformative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and conceptualize business requirements for financial service providers, including regulatory frameworks such as BCBS239, FiDA, DORA, and challenges in modern data architectures for AI applications.
• Collaborate within integrated teams delivering projects end-to-end— from planning and conceptualization through execution, testing, and rollout.
• Evaluate data from diverse sources, linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, and understanding how business information manifests within data.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent qualification; applications from final-year students are welcome.
• Practical experience via internships, practical semesters, student work, or personal projects in data analysis, finance, or IT is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning, demonstrated through academic work, internships, or personal projects (e.g., building small applications or tools using AI tools like Codex or Claude).
• Passion for the financial sector (banks, insurers) as well as IT and data topics.
• Fluency in German at C1 level, essential for project collaboration and communication.
• Proficient English skills (C1 level) both spoken and written.
• Independent working style and willingness to travel roughly once per month to client sites.
• Flexibility and openness toward new challenges and changing environments.
• Strong communication and networking abilities.
• Additional pluses include experience with SQL, data modeling, analytic functions, basic knowledge of Python or R, and familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
• Technical familiarity (advantageous) with various database systems (e.g., relational SQL, cloud-based technologies) and data platforms (e.g., ETL/ELT).
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., cloud storage solutions); able to grasp concepts and actively engage in discussions.
