- Lead technology initiatives from concept through release, with attention to schedule, budget, and measurable value.
- Manage the IT budget, software, hardware, and day-to-day technology operations to support current needs and future growth.
- Create and maintain practical IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and business continuity plans that lower business risk.
Candidate profile
- At least 5 years of experience leading IT teams and technology strategy, including oversight of outsourced IT or MSP relationships.
- Post-secondary training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven people leadership experience with hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in clear, business-friendly terms that support decision-making.
- Experience delivering technology projects from planning to launch while keeping stakeholders aligned and removing blockers.
- Strong vendor management skills, including negotiation and accountability for outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with business applications such as TMS, ERP, and SaaS platforms.
- Solid understanding of EDI operations and integrations, including collaboration with customers and vendors to resolve issues and improve connectivity.
- Background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or another fast-paced operational setting.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary for this position is CAD 95,000 to CAD 120,000 per year, plus an annual performance bonus. Placement within the range depends on relevant experience, leadership strength, skill fit, and internal equity. Compensation is performance-based and may be reviewed as responsibilities and impact grow.
Full benefits are provided, including medical, dental, long-term disability, life insurance, and a health care spending account.
