Role Overview

We seek a motivated International Sales Associate to handle student recruitment for the African market. This role involves managing prospects from initial inquiry through application, admission, and final enrollment. The sales associate serves as the primary liaison for prospective African students, understanding their educational and career objectives, recommending appropriate S-Next programs, assessing eligibility, and guiding them through the entire admissions process in a target-driven consultative sales capacity. Immediate availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promptly contacting prospective students via phone, email, WhatsApp, and online platforms.
  • Assessing academic backgrounds, motivation, and study preferences of prospects.
  • Conducting structured consultations to recommend suitable degree programs.
  • Consistently following up throughout candidates' decision-making phases.
  • Managing the lead pipeline from inquiry to enrollment and deposit payment.
  • Meeting individual enrollment and sales targets.
  • Reviewing applicants' academic and personal documents per admission criteria and identifying any missing items.
  • Clarifying admissions requirements to students and coordinating with the admissions team for further assessments when needed.
  • Supporting timely and accurate application completions.
  • Clearly explaining degree structures, fees, scholarships, and study formats to prospects.
  • Answering concerns with ethical, student-focused counseling.
  • Coordinating offer letter issuance and communicating with admitted students through enrollment steps.
  • Monitoring tuition payments and resolving any potential withdrawal issues proactively.
  • Maintaining detailed records and updates of sales activities in the CRM system (HubSpot preferred).
  • Analyzing the African education market, identifying trends, competitor activities, and student expectations.
  • Supporting local marketing and recruitment initiatives as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record of follow-up and closing.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; proficiency in an additional African language is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and consultation abilities.
  • Confident communicator with prospective students and possibly their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Adept at handling multiple leads and applicants efficiently.
  • Experience with CRM tools, particularly HubSpot, is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable using phone, email, WhatsApp, and video conferencing for communication.
  • Self-motivated and accountable for independent work in a remote, performance-driven setting.
  • Familiarity with the German or international higher education market is a plus.

Compensation

  • Fixed monthly salary of €400.
  • Commission of €400 per enrolled student meeting commission criteria.
  • Potential total earnings of €1,200 per month by enrolling two commissionable students.

Work Setting

  • Remote position focused on serving African prospective students.
  • Regular coordination with S-Next's international team based in Germany.
  • Availability aligned to communicate effectively across African time zones and S-Next operations.
