Intermediate Interior Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer passionate about creating inviting, functional, and sustainable work environments. This role involves transforming blank floor plans into spaces that are both practical and full of character, collaborating closely with our studio team, architects, and skilled local artisans.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Develop efficient and human-centred space plans that enhance usability.
• Apply a solid understanding of architecture and interior architecture concepts.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings aligned with HOAI service phases 1 to 3, facilitating smooth coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Engage in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification, prioritizing sustainable materials.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Rhino, and Google Suite proficiently, alongside project management tools, to manage project workflows.
• Bring experience in commercial or workplace interior design, ideally with a focus on sustainability.
• Communicate effectively within a small, hands-on studio environment.
• Maintain excellent organization and meet multiple deadlines across various project stages.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
