Role overview

The Tauranga studio is handling a wide variety of active projects and is seeking an Intermediate Architect, Architectural Graduate, or Architectural Technician with solid technical capability to support the team. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract created to meet current workload demands. Depending on future work levels, there may be an option for the role to continue on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing

You will be expected to contribute across the full design process, work closely with others in a collaborative studio environment, and take a practical, hands-on approach to project delivery. The role also includes administrative support such as specification writing and helping to lodge building consents, as well as leading projects on site where required.

What the studio is seeking

• A candidate at Intermediate Architect, Architectural Graduate, or Architectural Technician level with 7+ years of experience
• Strong technical ability, including detailed documentation skills and the confidence to lead a project on site
• Capability with Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
• A cooperative, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to contribute to every stage of a project, including administration, specification preparation, and building consent submissions
• Clear spoken and written communication for working with clients, consultants, and contractors
• A practical mindset and readiness to help with shared office duties
• A positive, proactive approach
