Role Overview

As an Interior Designer at Steinhafels, bring your creative vision to life by transforming client spaces and helping them create their dream homes. This role emphasizes design talent combined with sales skills to provide clients with personalized decorating solutions, from basic ideas to complete floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Bring creative design concepts to life that align with client needs and budgets.
• Work collaboratively across multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Conduct design consultations both in-store and within customers’ homes.
• Utilize 2D and 3D space planning tools to develop layouts.
• Select appropriate palettes, textiles, and materials aligned with client tastes.
• Manage scheduling flexibility to include weekends and holidays to accommodate client availability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong sales skills paired with high personal ethics and integrity.
• Creative ability to translate vision into compelling presentations that also drive sales.
• Experience or training in interior design, with preference for candidates holding at least an associate degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid DMV record meeting insurance requirements.
• Ability to handle concurrent client projects efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full commission sales position with no income ceiling.
• During initial four pay periods, a $15 per hour bonus is added to commissions as paid training support.
