Installer / Stand Builder

About the Role

Moreton Hire seeks a motivated and dependable Installer / Stand Builder to strengthen their Field Team based in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This hands-on position involves preparing for, setting up, and dismantling exhibition stands and conference booths across prominent venues in South East Queensland, including major convention centers and hotels. Opportunities to travel interstate arise periodically for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and removal of exhibition stands, booths, pods, and related show elements such as furniture, signage, audio-visual systems, staging, and flooring, ensuring projects are completed ahead of schedule.
• Occasionally construct outdoor event marquee structures.
• Operate forklifts and drive company fleet trucks safely to transport equipment and stock between event locations, including sites in Sydney.
• Perform physically demanding duties involving lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials.
• Follow site and venue safety protocols, promoting a safety-conscious environment for self and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and safe completion of event logistics.
• Maintain all resources, tools, and equipment to ensure they remain in excellent working condition.
• Exhibit leadership by taking responsibility for tasks and projects and providing support to the Project Manager throughout event execution.
