Role Summary
We are currently seeking Field Service Install Technicians based in Kildare to join our team. The role involves professional installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Heat Trace systems on equipment, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install Heat Trace systems including hardware setup, startup, testing, and commissioning.
- Engage professionally with customers ensuring positive interactions.
- Follow and respond to directions from the area lead effectively.
- Complete installation and testing activities within tight timelines and schedules.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude to suggest improvements enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Consistently deliver tasks on time while complying with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Contribute positively to team efforts and communicate clearly verbally and through systems and emails.
- Exercise the authority to halt any work deemed unsafe or environmentally risky to ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
- Maintain quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout all duties.
Requirements
- Strong safety focus for self and others on-site.
- Desirable: Level 6 or 7 qualification in engineering or related discipline.
- Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems involved.
- Hands-on technical skills with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Proficient PC skills, especially in MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
- Excellent team working ethos and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in English language.
