Role Overview
We are seeking a Hygiene Operative to join the Kettle Crisps team on a 3-on/3-off 12-hour day shift schedule. The role focuses on maintaining outstanding cleanliness, safety, and quality to support production of our high-standard food items. This position directly contributes to health and safety, food safety, quality assurance, service excellence, and cost controls while reinforcing the Kettle brand’s reputation for quality.
Main Duties
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and company regulations.
- Safely manage, store, and utilize cleaning chemicals according to COSHH and HAZOP guidelines.
- Perform cleaning operations as per hygiene protocols to satisfy internal standards and customer requirements.
- Deliver prompt and precise cleaning assistance to production areas, ensuring equipment readiness and cleanliness.
- Recognize any areas for skill enhancement and actively pursue relevant training opportunities for continual improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a strong dedication to hygiene and safety best practices.
- Possesses a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Works well collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in food production or hygiene roles is advantageous, including familiarity with packaging machines.
