Role Overview

We are collaborating with a client seeking a proactive and driven HR professional to join their People Team. This role offers an excellent chance to gain comprehensive exposure across the employee lifecycle within a dynamic, cooperative workspace. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in attracting and recruiting talent aligned with organizational goals and workforce strategies;
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition activities;
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify role specifications and facilitate efficient recruitment processes;
  • Help establish and maintain talent pipelines, emphasizing early careers and roles critical to the business;
  • Track recruitment metrics and support ongoing enhancements to hiring approaches;
  • Prepare, review, and distribute employment contracts, policies, and onboarding documents;
  • Ensure candidates experience a positive and engaging recruitment journey;
  • Provide HR guidance to managers regarding employee and industrial relations matters;
  • Support investigations and processes related to grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues according to company policy and employment legislation;
  • Draft documentation and represent the organization at external forums such as Workplace Relations Commission hearings when necessary;
  • Advise managers on performance, attendance management, and conflict resolution;

Candidate Profile

  • At least three years’ experience in HR or industrial relations;
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) or equivalent in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related discipline;
  • Experience in a unionized workplace is advantageous;
  • Strong familiarity with employment law and HR best practices;
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail;
  • Analytical ability to interpret and communicate HR data effectively;
  • Experience with HR systems, with knowledge of SuccessFactors and/or Zellis preferred;
  • Proficient communication and stakeholder relationship skills;
  • Capacity to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels;
  • Proactive, solution-oriented with strong business understanding;
  • Proven track record of leading initiatives that enhance organizational performance;
  • Possession of a clean full driving licence and readiness to travel as required.
