About the Role
Ortonville Area Health Services is looking for a meticulous and employee-focused Human Resources Generalist to enhance the overall workforce experience. This position works closely with organizational leaders and staff to ensure smooth HR operations while promoting a compliant, supportive, and high-efficiency work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, modifications, and inquiries
- Manage leave of absence programs such as FMLA, personal leave, and other relevant leaves
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding procedures for new hires
- Support payroll duties alongside the Finance/HR Assistant, including data input, audits, and addressing payroll questions
- Manage enrollments and scheduling for both online and in-person training sessions
- Provide general administrative support related to various HR functions, assisting staff as necessary
- Safeguard confidentiality of employee and organizational data
Qualifications
- Preferably at least two years of experience in a human resources capacity
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is desirable
Working Hours and Compensation
- Part-time position totaling 60 hours per biweekly pay period
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions to HSA
