Role Overview

EPCVIP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator who enjoys working with people and can keep HR operations moving smoothly in a fast-paced environment. This position is a strong fit for someone who can balance day-to-day administrative accuracy with employee engagement and culture-building work.

The role supports the full employee journey, from onboarding and records management to recognition programs, internal communications, and HR initiatives that help create a positive workplace.

Onboarding and New Hire Support

  • Create a welcoming start for new team members by preparing personalized onboarding materials and orientation sessions.
  • Handle the full onboarding workflow, including background screening, I-9 checks, HRIS setup, benefits enrollment, and coordination of equipment and workspace readiness.
  • Work with department leaders to arrange new hire introductions and support the first week on the job.
  • Keep onboarding paperwork organized and monitor key onboarding milestones.
  • Collect feedback from new hires and use it to improve the onboarding process.

Employee Records and HR Administration

  • Process time-off requests and keep attendance information accurate.
  • Track vacation balances, sick leave, and benefits eligibility.
  • Maintain confidential employee files, records, and HR documentation.

Internal Communications and Events

  • Keep the HR calendar updated with holidays, events, and important milestones.
  • Share internal updates through Slack and other communication channels.
  • Assist with logistics for leadership meetings, training sessions, company events, and employee travel.
  • Support newsletter content featuring company achievements and employee milestones.

Experience and Tools

The ideal candidate has experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems, strong organization and communication skills, and comfort working with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Wrike, Confluence, and AI productivity tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
