Housekeeper

Overview

Reporting to the Community Manager, the Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of vacant apartments, model units, leasing office, and the overall common areas within the apartment community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Ensure apartments, including model units, are cleaned regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of communal spaces such as lobbies, lounges, offices, restrooms, business centers, fitness centers, recreation rooms, hallways, breezeways, and staircases on a daily basis.
• Support maintenance and management teams to uphold the property's curb appeal.
• Coordinate housekeeping efforts during move-in and move-out periods, working alongside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Comprehensive background in various housekeeping duties.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Availability to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
• Capability to follow simple directions and use logical thinking in daily tasks.
• Professional, energetic attitude backed by prior housekeeping or customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Skilled at providing excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and staff.

Working Conditions

The role primarily involves indoor work, often exposed to dust, grease, noise, fumes, unpleasant odors, and cleaning agents. Physical demands include walking, standing, sitting for long durations, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and repetitive hand movements. The position also requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light to moderate weights and operate various equipment and vehicles. Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, is necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
