About the Role
The Lotus by Zenia at Patliputra Club & Banquets in Rajiv Nagar, Patna is seeking a responsible, presentable, and proactive Hotel Manager or Assistant Manager to assist in managing daily property operations.
We welcome candidates of all genders, with a preference for female applicants to complement the existing team and work closely with the female owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily hotel operations ensuring seamless functionality.
- Collaborate closely with the property owner and Zenia management team.
- Supervise and coordinate departments including Front Office and Housekeeping.
- Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain high standards of room readiness, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
- Coordinate restaurant and food & beverage needs with relevant teams.
- Support banquet, party, and event operations effectively.
- Handle bookings and reservation coordination.
- Maintain operational records and reports.
- Enforce staff discipline, attendance, and grooming standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and swiftly resolve operational challenges.
- Liaise with maintenance and external vendors as needed.
- Assist in sales inquiries and property visits.
- Ensure consistent maintenance of hospitality and service standards.
- Report significant operational issues to management promptly.
About the Property
The Lotus by Zenia operates within Patliputra Club & Banquets, featuring hotel accommodation, Bodhi Cafe/Restaurant, swimming pool, fully equipped gym, skating facilities, banquet halls, and event/open spaces. This position offers diverse exposure including F&B, events, banquets, recreation, and guest relations.
Candidate Profile
- Dependable and trustworthy with a presentable, well-groomed appearance.
- Confident in guest interactions yet firm in staff management.
- Organized, punctual, and comfortable assuming responsibility.
- Effective communicator in Hindi with basic English proficiency.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp, email, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple departments efficiently.
- Eager to learn and develop professionally within the organization.
Experience
While freshers with excellent communication and management potential are welcome, preference will be given to candidates with experience in hotel operations, front office, guest relations, restaurants, clubs, banquets, events, or hospitality management.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹25,000, with higher compensation possible for candidates demonstrating strong experience and capability. Salary will be based on experience, communication skills, responsibilities, and overall competence.
