About the Role

This pivotal role of Head of Technology is crucial in ensuring our technology runs seamlessly to support restaurant teams and our support centre across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee a stable and efficient IT infrastructure across all locations.
• Manage core business applications and bespoke in-house software.
• Support and enhance cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Ensure technology solutions are user-friendly, practical, and suited to business needs.
• Lead IT support teams to deliver smooth service operations in restaurants and the support centre.
• Minimise service disruptions by maintaining reliable systems.
• Manage incident resolution, system performance, and drive ongoing improvements.
• Maintain business continuity plans and disaster recovery processes.
• Support technologies that enhance guest interactions including booking, payment, and engagement systems.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies by automating processes and utilizing data intelligently.
• Introduce innovative tools that add operational value.
• Manage relationships with key IT vendors and partners to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operations and central teams to implement practical IT solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and system security policies and raise awareness of best IT practices across the company.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in senior IT leadership roles with strong expertise in IT operations, infrastructure management, and technical support.
• Experience overseeing third-party suppliers and service contracts.
• Hands-on, pragmatic problem solver comfortable working with technical and operational stakeholders alike.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
• Hospitality, retail, or multi-site business experience is advantageous.
• Experience leading system enhancements or technology transformation projects is a plus.
