Role Overview

We are looking for a Head of Infrastructure and Operations to lead the teams responsible for maintaining and evolving Gallagher's technology environment. This includes managing cloud platforms, enterprise networks, service operations, data centers, and end-user support, ensuring both the daily performance and strategic development of the global technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and execute the infrastructure and cloud strategy across Azure, AWS, and hybrid systems.
• Oversee infrastructure operations to ensure secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available platforms.
• Enhance service management processes, including incident, problem, change, and release management, to achieve excellence.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation, self-service, and advanced ITSM practices to boost efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Manage service desk and end-user support functions to deliver exceptional technology experiences.
• Direct infrastructure upgrades, cloud modernization, and automation projects to optimize operations and reduce complexity.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams spanning infrastructure, cloud, operations, and workplace technology.
• Collaborate with technology leadership to ensure infrastructure alignment with Gallagher's strategic goals and growth plans.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive leadership experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, or technology service management.
• Strong expertise managing Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven background in IT service management, including service desk operations, major incident management, and ITIL best practices.
• Track record of modernizing technology platforms while maintaining operational stability.
• Deep knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, end-user computing, and modern workplace technologies.
• Commercial awareness with experience handling operational budgets, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
