Head of Delivery & Client Operations - Microsoft

About the Role

This executive leadership role based in Melbourne or Sydney offers a chance to head the national delivery function at a well-established Microsoft Solutions Partner. You will oversee Professional Services, Managed Services, Support, Quality Assurance, and Client Operations, partnering closely with the CTO and senior leaders to propel business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed delivery organization to ensure consistent excellence.
• Drive superior performance across Projects, Managed Services, and Client Support functions.
• Develop and enhance delivery frameworks, governance models, and operational maturity.
• Manage teams including Client Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, Support, and QA personnel.
• Optimize utilization, forecasting, profitability, and overall delivery effectiveness.
• Maintain strong executive client relationships and handle strategic escalations adeptly.
• Champion automation, AI integration, and ongoing process improvements.
• Collaborate with Technology, Sales, and Executive teams to underpin business expansion.
• Build leadership capabilities and nurture a culture focused on accountability and teamwork.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Over 10 years of leadership experience in technology consulting or professional services environments.
• Expertise in Microsoft Business Applications such as Dynamics 365, Business Central, ERP, CRM, or Digital Transformation consulting.
• Proven commercial leadership with a strong track record in delivering professional services.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance delivery performance, operational maturity, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborative leadership approach with a passion for developing talent and fostering high-performing teams.
