About the Role
Join Google as the Head of Creative for the YouTube Creative Studio in EMEA where you'll lead a talented team producing innovative, impactful content that aligns with the Google Marketing brand. This role requires dynamic leadership in a fast-evolving environment and a commitment to crafting remarkable creative work that deeply connects with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and motivate a diverse team of creatives and producers to deliver award-winning projects that meet briefs, deadlines, and budgets.
- Establish the strategic creative objectives for YouTube in the EMEA region with a focus on AI-driven storytelling and streamlining studio processes.
- Expand and nurture a multidisciplinary internal creative studio with a focus on fostering creative confidence and technological innovation among the team.
- Build strong partnerships with regional executives, stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure proper resource allocation and alignment with strategic goals.
- Act as the primary creative representative and brand ambassador, engaging with users, creators, artists, and influential figures.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 13 years working in creative disciplines such as writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, or photography.
- Proven experience presenting to executive leadership and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated success managing, mentoring, and developing creative teams and commissioning high-quality freelance talent.
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand design, advertising campaigns, direct response, and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience engaging with external trends and participation in creative awards panels or steering committees.
- Ability to work efficiently with various levels of information and adapt quickly in complex brand environments.
- Track record of success in agency or large-scale in-house creative teams operating in matrixed organizations.
- Experience managing the creative studio’s operations including resource planning, budgeting, and scaling.
