Grocery Associate

Position Overview

Serving as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your retail and customer service skills. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer support aligned with Walmart's core beliefs and principles, manage and organize grocery inventory, and assist with merchandise stocking and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the grocery department to maintain an appealing and orderly environment.
• Stock rotation with diligent checks for expired goods to ensure product freshness.
• Ensure all items are correctly labeled and priced for clear customer understanding.
• Comply with food safety standards, proper handling of goods, and maintain cleanliness through sanitation protocols.
• Carry out procedures related to ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and labeling to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain fully stocked shelves to ensure department readiness for daily business.
• Adhere to established health and safety regulations in all activities.
• Perform inventory management including stocking, downstocking, product protection application, modular setups, and shelf cap adjustments.

Compensation

The hourly wage begins at $17.75.

Minimum Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
