About Caonyx
Caonyx is developing an AI-driven business software suite designed for contemporary enterprises. Their platform is engineered to streamline and automate essential business processes, spanning finance, document management, reporting, customer relations, internal workflows, and administrative tasks. They employ cutting-edge web technologies combined with responsible application of AI-assisted development tools to create practical software solutions that effectively address real-world business challenges.
Role Summary
The company seeks a Graduate Software Developer to become part of a compact, agile team focused on building actual software products. This position is ideal for recent graduates holding Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees who meet, or are likely to meet, eligibility criteria for the ANAD/HRDA graduate employment and training program. New hires will receive foundational training during their initial weeks, so prior knowledge of the technology stack is advantageous but not mandatory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the development of Caonyx’s AI-enhanced business software solutions.
- Develop, test rigorously, and debug features of the product.
- Contribute across backend, frontend, database, and API development areas.
- Assist in building software components that facilitate business workflows and automation.
- Utilize AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code in a responsible manner.
- Review, test, and refine code generated or assisted by AI technologies.
- Work collaboratively with the team to foster technical and product enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Some exposure to software development through academic projects, internships, personal projects, or professional experience.
- A keen interest in software engineering, AI tools, process automation, and product innovation.
- Capability to work independently within a predominantly remote setup.
- Enthusiasm to learn and adapt across various technologies.
- Meticulous attention to quality assurance, including testing and debugging of personal work.
Technical Environment
- Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Django, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Git/GitHub is beneficial.
- Experience or competence with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalents is a plus.
Employment Information
- Workplace: Primarily remote with occasional on-site presence at the Larnaca, Cyprus office.
- Job type: Full-time employment.
- Start date: To be mutually agreed upon.
- Training: Provided during the initial weeks on the job.
