Job description
Job Overview
Seeking experienced Data Engineers with 5 to 10 years of hands-on expertise to join our team across various locations in India. Candidates must be proficient in Google Cloud BigQuery scripting or have experience with Snowflake, AWS, or Cloud SQL. A solid background with ETL tools like Talend, Datastage, Informatica ISS Cloud version, Data Fusion, Data Flow, or Data Proc is essential.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and manage scripts using SQL and PLSQL.
- Leverage Python alongside tools like Data Flow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and CICD pipelines to automate data processes.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform components including Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Kafka, DataFlow, and Google Cloud SDK.
- Work with relational database management systems (RDBMS) efficiently.
- Utilize schedulers such as Control M, UC4, Atomic, Airflow Composer for workflow and job orchestration.
- Follow Agile software development lifecycle and participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.
Additional Expertise
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, NiFi, and Kafka is advantageous.
- Possession of GCP Data Engineer certifications is considered a strong plus.
Notice Period
Candidates should be available with a notice period ranging from immediate to 30 days.
