Internship Overview
The GHD Summer Internship Program offers students in their penultimate or pre-penultimate year a chance to gain practical industry experience, expand their professional networks, and explore potential graduate career paths within the company. Those who have completed previous internships may use this opportunity to assess if consulting aligns with their career goals.
- Interns will have the opportunity to engage with diverse consulting disciplines including engineering, science, project management, architecture, or other specialties, enabling them to find a role that fits their interests.
- The three-month internship provides exposure to multiple career paths throughout the organization.
- Participants will collaborate within design teams on dynamic projects, contribute to bid and tender processes, and participate in broader challenges designed for interns.
- Interns receive constructive feedback throughout the program to support their professional development.
Application Process
- Applicants must submit a CV showcasing their academic background and experience.
- A cover letter is required to express growth aspirations within GHD and demonstrate communication skills.
- Academic transcripts highlighting coursework and electives should be provided.
- The selection process involves initial screening after application closure, virtual assessments featuring cognitive tasks and situational questions, followed by an in-person interview focused on behavioral competencies and mutual fit.
- Accommodations are available for neurodiverse applicants or those with disabilities upon request during the application.
Program Details
The internship typically begins in November and concludes by mid to late February, aligned with GHD's graduate intake. Many interns continue contributing on a casual basis after the main internship period.
Community and Inclusion
