We invite a dynamic commercial leader to embrace the position of General Manager – Taranaki based in New Plymouth. This role oversees business performance, revenue growth, team leadership, and community engagement within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enact strategic growth initiatives to exceed financial goals and deliver superior client service.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a motivated sales and promotions workforce.
- Manage regional profit and loss and ensure robust financial results.
- Foster and strengthen partnerships with clients, agencies, and community organizations.
- Drive a culture prioritizing customer experience and outstanding client outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Content, Promotions, and Digital teams to maximize business potential.
- Act as a prominent and respected figure representing MediaWorks within the region.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive leadership experience with 6 to 8+ years guiding sales teams to deliver excellent client services.
- Demonstrated strong commercial insight and capability managing budgets and financial outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership with the ability to inspire, energize, and support a team with resilience and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills with influential ability at various organizational levels.
- Strategic mindset paired with practical execution excellence.
- Proven relationship-building expertise and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to achieving results with consistent focus on delivery and client satisfaction.
