Funds Specialist - Client Service

About the Role

Citi's Investor Services division offers extensive support across more than 100 global markets, facilitating the growth of local and international products that include Custody, Funds, and Execution Services. This role is integral to delivering efficient, scalable operations and strengthening client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge in Fund Accounting processes such as NAV calculation, valuation, and fund lifecycle management to comprehensively support clients.
• Manage client queries proactively including escalation procedures and resolving aged issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and clients, handling escalations and participating in significant client engagements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through detailed analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the client experience.
• Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at operational efficiency improvements.
• Assess operational workflows for risks, ensuring effective execution and risk mitigation.
• Oversee complex assessments related to authentication strategies and identify gaps in procedures.
• Maintain a balance between fraud risk, operational costs, and customer service quality.
• Manage the Manager Control Assessment process to ensure all operational risks related to Client Operations and Fund Accounting are documented.
• Enforce risk management through corrective action planning and compliance with company policies.
• Prioritize and monitor team workloads and productivity, adapting communication to improve service excellence.
• Influence strategic decisions by collaborating with business partners to align client services with wider organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in Fund Accounting or a closely related financial services function at a senior level.
• Strong technical expertise in full-cycle Fund Accounting and NAV generation processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to influence senior-level audiences.
• Competence in managing complex situations and mitigating risks promptly.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret data trends and guide business insights.
• Able to balance competing priorities and deliver results within a fast-moving, deadline-driven setting.
• Familiarity with the InvestOne Fund Accounting platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

This position belongs to the Customer Service job family and specifically within Institutional Customer Service. It is a full-time role based in Dublin, Ireland, with a salary range of €85,600 to €128,400 annually.
