Full-Time Cook

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage inventory deliveries and stock storage areas responsibly.
• Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items following company recipes and standards while maintaining food quality and safety.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness and organization in all cooking and storage areas.
• Participate fully in required training programs including back-of-house development and hands-on station training.
• Deliver energetic, friendly service and uphold the Zaxbys brand and current promotional offerings.
• Assist with front of house operations and guest service as needed.
• Maintain accurate product levels at stations to meet immediate order requirements.
• Report maintenance needs promptly to management and comply with all safety guidelines.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner, contributing to a safe and orderly work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Ability to work full-time hours ranging between 32 and 40 per week.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit continuously, bend, stoop, crouch, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Good communication skills including speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Comfort working in environments with temperature changes and exposure to allergens.
• Capability to safely handle kitchen tools and equipment such as knives and fryers.
