Role Overview

We are looking to engage a skilled Frontend Web Developer specializing in HTML and CSS on a contract basis. This remote position allows you to work from any location while contributing to the development and maintenance of responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Your main focus will be translating design mockups into functional web components that perform optimally across different browsers and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, and relevant technologies.
• Ensure design implementation works flawlessly across various browsers and screen sizes.
• Work closely with design teams to create pixel-perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front-end performance and ensure accessibility compliance.
• Engage in code reviews and promote best coding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, with clear understanding of semantic markup principles.
• Experience applying responsive design and mobile-first development strategies.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or utility frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Competence in browser developer tools and debugging methods.
• Capability to implement designs imported from tools like Figma or Sketch effectively.
