Front Office Attendant - Nightelier Devonport

About the Role

ALH Hotels is looking for a Front Office Attendant to join the Nightelier Devonport team in Miandetta, Tasmania. This is a busy, guest-facing position focused on creating a welcoming first impression and delivering a smooth front office experience.

As the first point of contact for guests, you will help set the tone for their stay through attentive service, quick action, and strong organisation. The role suits someone who can juggle competing priorities, work well with others, and keep guest service standards high in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service that helps create a positive arrival experience.
• Monitor reception emails and incoming calls, and complete administrative tasks promptly.
• Support the wider team with accommodation, bistro, and booking-related duties whenever needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong focus on guest experience and the understanding that every interaction matters.
• Good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent organisation and confidence using computers for day-to-day tasks.
• A current RSA certificate.

Inherent Requirements

This position involves hands-on physical work, including routine manual handling and lifting such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries. The person in this role must be able to carry out physical tasks safely and efficiently.
