The Franchise Planner is tasked with enhancing inventory productivity, supporting sales growth, and managing commercial planning for SKIMS' global franchise partners. This position collaborates closely with teams across Franchise Sales, Merchandising, Product, Supply Chain, and external franchise stakeholders to guarantee timely availability of the right products in the appropriate markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design seasonal and yearly merchandise financial plans targeting global franchise partners.
- Create demand forecasts detailed by market, partner, product category, and sales channel.
- Evaluate sales data, inventory levels, supply weeks, sell-through rates, and margin performance to boost profitability.
- Collaborate with Franchise Sales and Merchandising to develop pre-season assortment and inventory strategies.
- Track in-season business performance to identify potential risks and opportunities, recommending corrective measures to enhance outcomes.
- Work with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to assure prompt inventory distribution and allocation across franchise locations.
- Oversee inventory investments to meet targets related to sales, profit margins, and inventory productivity.
- Support seasonal purchasing, restocking strategies, and final plans for seasonal stock clearance.
- Prepare routine business reports and reviews for leadership and franchise partners on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Create dashboards and data reporting tools to provide transparent visibility of KPI trends and market performance.
- Partner with Finance on forecasting processes, budgeting, and inventory planning.
- Deliver commercial insights using consumer data, market trends, and historical sales records.
- Coordinate with Product Development, Planning, Merchandising, Operations, and Regional teams to back global expansion efforts.
- Drive continual enhancements in planning tools, reporting mechanisms, and forecasting methodologies.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience in merchandise or inventory planning, allocation, or related roles in retail, wholesale, or franchise environments.
- Preferred experience working with international or franchise business models.
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities, able to work with extensive data sets effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookup functions, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with planning and ERP systems such as Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory management, forecasting, assortment planning, and stock replenishment practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
- Previous involvement supporting international franchised or wholesale partners.
- Knowledge of global retail calendars and varying regional trading patterns.
- Experience managing multiple currencies and international inventory planning considerations.
- Understanding apparel retail specifics including size and color optimization.
- Proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000.
