Job Overview

Park View High School invites applications for assistant football coaching roles for the upcoming season running from August through November. These positions involve key responsibilities within the coaching team to support the development and success of the football program.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the head athletic coach to execute a well-organized football program.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with the athletic department for smooth operations.
• Participate in all scheduled staff meetings as directed by the head athletic coach during the season.
• Fulfill specific tasks assigned by the head athletic coach to support team goals.
• Advise on necessary equipment and supplies for effective program implementation.
• Propose disciplinary measures for players who breach training guidelines and rules.
• Encourage athletes to develop a competitive spirit balanced with sportsmanship, personal pride, and respect for their school and community.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the high school principal or athletic director related to the assistant coaching position.

Required Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience or participation in football at the high school or collegiate level.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid, or currently enrolled in training for these certifications.
• Experience as a teacher or classified employee within Loudoun County Public Schools is preferred.
• Preference given to candidates holding a Virginia Teaching License or those employed full-time as classified staff within Loudoun County Public Schools.
