Food and Beverage Services Attendant

Overview

This permanent role involves full-time onsite work in a busy, fast-paced environment at Tim Hortons in St. Catharines, Ontario. Candidates will be responsible for assisting with food and beverage services, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service.

Working Conditions

• Working hours range between 37.5 to 44 hours per week with shifts potentially including early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, on call, and flexible hours.
• Employment language requirement is English.
• Work requires physical stamina to meet the demands of cleaning, stocking, and serving.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and clear tables, trays, and chairs efficiently.
• Replenish condiments and supplies in dining and serving areas.
• Maintain accurate records of food quantities used.
• Prepare, heat, and complete simple food items as needed.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars appropriately.
• Take accurate customer orders with friendly service.
• Use manual and electrical kitchen appliances including ovens, grills, food dispensers, and electronic cash registers.
• Sanitize kitchen areas including surfaces, cupboards, equipment, and storage areas.
• Handle storage and use of cleaning products safely.
• Receive, unpack, and store inventory correctly.
• Remove kitchen garbage and maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
• Serve food and beverages while providing excellent customer service.

Experience and Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
• Work experience ranging from 7 months up to less than 1 year preferred.
• Criminal record check required for employment.
