Fitter

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Fitter to join a dynamic team responsible for installing a variety of signage throughout the UK. This position involves frequent travel and overnight stays of up to three days, approximately twice monthly, with all accommodation, travel costs, and meal allowances provided by the company.

Key Duties

• Install different types of signage such as post-mounted signs, hoardings, illuminated signs, fascias, cladding, vinyl graphics, and shopfitting materials.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely, punctually, and uphold high-quality standards.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety protocols and the company’s installation procedures.
• Provide outstanding customer service while working both independently and collaboratively within the team.

Required Qualifications and Traits

• Possession of a valid CSCS Card is mandatory.
• Holding a full UK driving licence is essential.
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and customer-centered mindset.
• Certifications in PASMA, IPAF, First Aid, Working at Height, and CAT Scanner are advantageous but not obligatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary ranging from 30,000 to 31,500 annually, with additional pay for overtime and an attendance bonus.

Additional Information

This is a permanent, on-site role based in Colchester, Essex. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be able to travel regularly and stay overnight as required. Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be eligible for consideration.
