Role Summary

The Finished Goods Warehouse Operation Specialist will oversee daily outbound operations focusing on finished goods. This position demands managing order fulfillment accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely dispatch of products to retail points, e-commerce, or final customers while collaborating closely with sales, logistics, and customer service teams. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory integrity, ensuring team productivity, and safety compliance within a fast-paced, order-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily inbound receiving and outbound order fulfillment following warehouse management priorities, balancing multiple order types such as B2B, B2C, and retail replenishment to meet strict timelines.
  • Conduct daily meetings with warehouse personnel to align on operational goals, discuss challenges, and ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training efforts emphasizing order picking precision, packaging standards, and dispatch readiness.
  • Serve as primary contact for managing staff leave and backup plans to guarantee continuous operations.
  • Ensure real-time accuracy of warehouse management system (WMS) data related to all finished goods movements.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the pick-pack-ship process, especially during peak or promotional periods, suggesting improvements to leadership.
  • Organize preventive maintenance and document upkeep for warehouse equipment including forklifts and conveyor systems.
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational reports detailing fulfillment metrics such as OTIF, picking accuracy, and productivity.
  • Lead daily cycle counts to uphold 100% inventory accuracy for finished goods and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Perform scheduled audits to confirm physical stock matches system records.
  • Inspect outbound products for packaging quality, label correctness, and any damage or order mismatches.
  • Optimize inventory slotting by analyzing product velocity, size, and seasonal demands to enhance picker efficiency.
  • Monitor aging inventory and coordinate with sales/planning for promotional or clearance activities.
  • Ensure full adherence to Emergency Health and Safety (EHS) policies and organize regular safety training focused on finished goods handling.
  • Manage storage and regulatory compliance of temperature-sensitive or hazardous goods (DG), including adherence to IATA and local regulations.
  • Document safety incidents and near-misses and implement preventive measures.
  • Enforce 5S standards and maintain warehouse environment compliance, reporting any deviations immediately.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of three years hands-on experience managing finished goods warehouse operations in sectors such as high-tech, FMCG, retail, or e-commerce, under stringent OTIF and accuracy requirements.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage for Saudi Arabia-based roles.
  • Preferred certification in IATA Dangerous Goods Declaration/Certificate.
  • Advanced skills in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory methodologies including FIFO/LIFO and familiarity with order-to-cash and last-mile fulfillment processes.
  • Preferably knowledgeable about Saudi market logistics, including customs clearance systems (FASAH/SABER), local transport rules, and peak seasonal demands like Ramadan and Hajj.
