Financial Planning Analyst

About the Role

Barden has been exclusively retained to find a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst for a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be an essential part of a dynamic FP&A team, delivering valuable insights, reports, and analytical support to aid strategic business decisions. This role offers the chance to lead automation initiatives, improve reporting functions, and utilize advanced tools like Power BI and Excel within a fast-moving, team-centric environment.

• Compile monthly management reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator analyses to assess business performance.
• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, and financial planning efforts.
• Track financial results, detect risks and growth prospects, and analyze significant business patterns.
• Create financial models and deliver commercial insights to guide strategic choices.
• Perform tailored financial analyses and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and operational units to ensure precise reporting and influence strategic decisions.
• Promote ongoing process improvements through automation, workflow enhancements, and implementation of best practices and new technologies.

About the Candidate

• Holding a qualification or part-qualification as an accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with FP&A experience.
• Demonstrates strong financial knowledge, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, capable of converting complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Proven experience in automating reports, refining processes, and improving data quality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively and build strong business partnerships.
• Commercially aware mindset focused on continuous improvement; familiarity with financial planning software is beneficial.
