Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will handle the following duties:

  • Ensure accurate accounting in compliance with Chilean accounting and tax laws, including SII regulations, payroll, and mandatory reports.
  • Prepare the conversion from local accounting to IFRS standards by creating adjustments, account reconciliations, note preparations, and assisting with the accounting close process.
  • Generate and maintain management reports such as Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.
  • Manage expense budgeting by collecting requests, preparing budgets, and controlling execution.
  • Analyze plan-versus-actual deviations by preparing reports, identifying root causes, and offering recommendations.
  • Plan payment schedules, monitor liquidity, and interact with banking institutions.
  • Coordinate with local accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Support the executive team with financial analysis and decision-making assistance.

Educational and Professional Requirements

  • University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.
  • Additional certification or training in IFRS, managerial accounting, or financial analysis is appreciated.
  • Three to five years of experience in finance, management control, or accounting.
  • Proven experience with Chilean accounting and tax regulations.
  • Experience in converting financial statements to IFRS is a significant advantage.
