Job Overview

As a Finance Executive, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive oversight and management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger operations. Maintaining accurate and timely accounting records and processes is paramount. Your responsibilities will include monthly reconciliations across ledgers and bank or cash accounts, ensuring prompt and accurate month-end financial closures, along with assisting in various ad-hoc financial duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting sets including AR, AP, and GL.
• Issue customer invoices and process incoming invoices for the organization.
• Perform reconciliations for cash, bank, and credit card accounts.
• Execute month-end financial closing activities with accuracy.
• Handle intercompany transactions, billing, and reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end profit and loss reports.
• Generate month-end balance sheet schedule reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent certification.
• Solid understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Good numerical aptitude.
• Preferably 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance; however, candidates demonstrating a positive attitude and eagerness to learn without prior experience are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency accounting and foreign exchange transactions.
• Certification such as ACCA or equivalent is advantageous.
